Hi could I have a private post please.
I’m a mother to two boys 10 and 2. Myself and my partner have had an on and off relationship for 17 years. We were very young when we first met. When I fell pregnant on my first son we were shocked but delighted. After about 3 years things started to get tough between us. We decided to our separate ways. Our son seen his dad regularly until he met someone. Our little boy took this very bad. He met her once and never wanted to see his dad again. After a very tough few years myself and his dad went for mediation and got back together. We had another little boy and everything was going great. But it seems my partner can’t do anything right with our first born. He picks at every little thing. We’ve brought him for counselling and to our gp to deal with any past issues with dad. I’m feeling it to be extremely stressful on family days out as our son makes things so hard for us to all get along even for a few hours. Our other little boy doesn’t get any attention for his brother. I would be most grateful if anyone in the same situation has any tips on what to do or that could help. Thank you
