Hi. Could I have a private post please. My son will be 2 in February and doesn’t say any words. He babbles and we get a bit of dada, mama, ball and car. He doesn’t seem to understand simple instructions and struggle to stop him doing things as he doesn’t seem to grasp with word no. I don’t know how best to work with him. Had anyone got any suggestions or had any similar experiences.

See if your doctor will refer you to speech and language? They are great at the child development centre on Orton road but u will need a referal before u get an appointment and then ring in a month or so and say u have a referal in and u will take any cancellation appointment then u might get seen quicker. X
