Hi could I have a private post please ?
Not baby related.. I am just looking on the best advice I can get on how to go about my step dad adopting me , he has been in my life for as long as i can remember since I was about say around the age of 5/6 if not younger.. He’s has been the best father figure I could ever wish for , although I do know my biological father but he has never ever took an interest in me even when I have told him I would love a bond with him.. anyway to me my stepdad is my dad to me and my kids grandad , he took me on as his own child and treated me like one of his own kids.. I would just love for him to adopt me and I’ve spoken to him about this also and he loves the idea of it but we just don’t know how to go about it and could my biological father stop this from happening? Thanks in advance for info passed on.
