Hi could I have an urgent private post please?
Has anybody had a visit following the heel prick test on their baby, to say cystic fibrosis is suspected? And how did the follow up tests turn out? Just been told we have to go to the hospital tomorrow and are desperate for positive stories?

My daughter 8 years ago. She had to have genetic testing which showed 1 common mutation of the gene (they only test for the 32 most common, or did back then). She then had to have sweat test as a toddler due to struggling to put weight on and some other digestive issues which came back borderline. She has some digestive issues but nothing else thankfully
