Hi could you post this for me please

Does anyone have any idea what this is. It started as a small rash but is now a cluster of raised lumps spreading. It’s on her bottom top of her leg and is quite itchy. Don’t have doctors till 5 this evening x

  • Looks like hives, which is usually the body’s response to being allergic to something. It can also flare up if children have viral infections such as colds. May be from something really simple, like a bite. If it is, antihistamines can help with the itch, such as Piriton. They can also have antihistamine creams to help.

  • I get these and for me they are from an allergy to animals and dust.
I find animals with fur tend to bring up itchy lumps like this which usually just go away by themselves.
To stop it I wash my hands when handling pets and try not to let them touch my bare skin to much.
    Hope this is helpful

  • Looks like it could possibly be the start of shingles. They start off looking like mosquito bites and are itchy, then blister and look a bit like coldsores xx My son had it and was picked up on very early and suscribed a cream which did the trick. Hope your daughter is okay x

  • Thank you. This is my daughter. She seems fine in herself. No antibiotics recently just these horrid lumps. My son gets hives from his allergys but his are more spread out and come and go. Just looks nasty. Have put some e45 anti itch cream on x
