Hi I am asking on behalf of a friend.
She is pregnant with her second baby (unplanned) and will not be able to return to work here first child is almost 3. She says she will not be able to afford to return to work and pay out for childcare for two children (she’s aware of the 30 hours free but she would have to pay for wrap around as the hours only start from 9am and she works early mornings) her questions is how does it work with claiming support usually they take last year’s earnings into account and if they do she won’t have enough help to get by? Do they take last year’s into account or is it different because there’s a baby involved?

Thanks. Please no bashing she has worked from being 16.
