Hi I was wondering if i could have a post please.
I would like to no if any mums gave birth to a healthy baby. found out after they had strep b infection and did your baby get sick at all a couple of months later and what the symptoms were please.

I only found out a couple weeks after having my baby that I had strep B and that was after many trips to the doctors with being in agony. My baby was fine doh and never got sick from it, they just told me to keep an eye if he got a high temperature or rash,luckily he was absolutely fine. 😁
I was lucky I knew I had it before I was pregnant, had antibiotics in labour via Iv and my little boy was never effected by it just had to stay in hospital for 24hrs for monitoring
I had group b strep i had antibiotics in labour via iv fluids my baby was born healthy and unaffected xxxx
Think every women should be routinely tested for it i was lucky i knew before hand xx
