Hi it’s been a while but wondering if it’s possible to get a private post.

It’s a bit long so bare with me. My son has to have blood taken twice a year and we always have trouble because his veins always collapse when the needle goes in. Before they have always managed to get the blood it’s just took a while. The problem is it’s getting harder and harder to get the blood to the point where he went this morning and they only managed to get a small amount of blood not enough to do all the tests that need doing so they are requesting the most important ones are done but advised we may be asked back in a few weeks to try do the rest. Because of the trouble they had today my son became hysterical and was traumatised by it and ended up having the day off school because it was gone 1 before he calmed down. My question is will they take blood under general anaesthetic if we ask as we cannot keep putting him through this.
