Hi please can I have a private post I’m sorry it’s not baby related as such but I really need advice as I don’t have any close enough friends to talk to 🙁

Okay so myself and my fiance have been together 8 years this August we have been engaged for 3 years this August we have 2 beautiful children together… the thing is when we registered the children we put their surnames as my surname, my problem is now we have set a date to get married everyone is getting shitty about what name me and the kids are gonna take my fiance wants us to take his name and my parents want us to double barrel or keep our name we already have I feel terribly torn and the worst is my fiance mother has been putting pressure on us getting married for a long time and having the kids in their dad’s name and my mum keeps saying he’s only marrying me to keep his mum happy and because he wants the kids in his name 😢 thing is names mean nothing to me… marriage should be about love not names or is that me being stupid?

Please no bashing just advice 😢😢
