Hi please could I have a post. Can any mummies help? My son has chicken pox really bad he is covered from head to toe. I have gave him calpol, Piriton and been putting calamine lotion on him but he is still really uncomfortable, does anyone know anything else I can do or try to help soothe them and stop them itching. Thank you x

Pop some oats in a sock and run a warm bath with it in. Really helped my daughter 🙂 the water looks a bit grim but it’s really good for the skin and helps smooth the chicken pox a lot x
Calamine lotion mixed with aquias (not how you spell it) pinged in the microwave for five seconds – dries it out stops it itching & is very easy to apply xx
We are in the same position hubbys nan recommended sea salt in the bath it’s dried most of them up also aqueous calamine cream instead of lotion x
Poxicilin is amazing. It’s a cooling antibac foam
Ask your gp for Pinetarsol helps soothe the itching .
