Hi please could I have a private post?
My daughters dad and I split up a while ago. We have an agreement in place that he will have her every Sunday. He says he can’t have her overnight because he is in a room at a relatives house and doesn’t have the space. Anyway, every Sunday when he is meant to have her for the day he either turns up drunk or doesn’t turn up because he is out drinking. I have tried to say if it happens again I will have to stop this arrangement because I don’t want him to keep letting her down, but he just threatens to stop the child maintenance payment. I work full time and need his small contribution to help pay for nursery so if he stops the payment I will have to change my working arrangements. Everything he does is still to have that control over me and stop me continuing with my life. Has anyone got any useful suggestions as to how I can get out of his control and find a solution. There is no talking to him as he is narcissistic and won’t let me talk about him in a negative way at all and will not admit to doing wrong. Thanks.

Go through csa because if he stopped payments he would be taken to court. I agree with you that he can’t be around your daughter while drunk. X
