Dentist fears…. hey i am sooo scared of going the dentist i went when i was a child had a brace fitted and 8 teeth out so quite a bit done when i was a kid… since growing up ive just stopped going the thought makes me go hot and i feel sick…. i have had to book in for next week as ive had a niggling for the past week i just keep going hot at the thought and keep crying i just dont no weather il be able to do it my husband has booked me the app and told the receptionist im nervous and she has said the dentist im in with is one of there best…. i just feel really silly… but i no that all week il be worrying about it and getting upset at the thought…. i dont really no what im asking for but maybe advice or tips… thanks for reading ☺

I used to be exactly the same until I started going to my current dentist. I am fine for check ups now but do get quite anxious if I know I need work doing. I sat down with my dentist first explained how I felt and what caused me to be like it. They then took things nice and slowly. Plus I didn’t want my son growing up with the same fear and he has helped me gain trust with the dentist. Hope this helps xx
I love the dentist when I had a bad tooth it needed alot of worked done I was just so happy to get it done I’ve just had root canal too which is no bother either just think you will get rid of any problems any pain and will feel happier after too x
