Hiya, can I have a pp again please?
Please I’m only wondering if anyone else has had experience with this and the outcome, no bashing.
Recently I’ve noticed my 1 year old sons behaviour is changing.. I don’t know if it’s normal and he is being a typical lad or if there is anything possibly not right, I’ve just got a feeling I can’t shake, but this is my first boy so again I don’t know if this is normal.
My son used to be loving, barely cried, ate anything, not a problem at all.
Lately he is an incredibly fussy eater and won’t eat things he used to, he won’t cuddle unless he wants one, he just tries to avoid it but will happily sit facing away from me on my lap.
He has mad outbursts of crying! He won’t be hurt, nothing would have happened, he just screams! If he wants to be on the stairs just chill on the stairs (with me there obviously) and he can’t he will go ballistic, he is obsessed with them! He hates new environments, cries and sticks to me, his dad or nanna and when it comes things like books (we have kids books on the bottom shelf what we can get to) he has to take them off! The books have to be on the floor, he won’t play with them or touch them when they’re on the floor, but as soon as they’re off that shelf he will go straight back and take them off!
He isn’t walking independently which I’m not worried about as my daughter didn’t walk until 15 months but he also doesn’t say any words, plenty of baby noises and he says mama but that’s it, compared to my daughter (I know I shouldn’t compare) he is so far behind! She was saying sentences at this point!
He is a lovely little boy, but I can’t help feel something is going on? Or am I just being over the top? Worrying over nothing?
Thanks for reading! Hope it makes sense 😊
