Hiya, can I have a private post please?

Just looking for a bit of advice as I literally have no idea what to do. I’m currently renting a private property with my sister, she has a 1 year old & I have a 8 month old. (4 bedroom property, 2 bedrooms each, separate tenancys). Only the problem is one of the ‘bedrooms’ I’m renting isn’t actually a bedroom, the landlord has put it on the tenancy as a bedroom so that she gets the rent paid. It has a gas box in there so the room constantly smells of gas when the door is closed, there’s no radiator for when it gets cold & the window doesn’t open. Not only that but it’s full of mould. Now getting on to my room, I have an “en suite” – basically a shower built in to a cupboard, which is causing my room to be full of mould too. All of my furniture is ruined, it’s going up the walls, it’s ruining mine and my daughters clothes and it’s even getting to the point where it’s on my daughters cot. I have shown my landlord pictures of how bad the en suite is, in the hope she could at least give me a bit of advice on how to get rid of it but nope. I’ve also told her about my daughters “bedroom” (baring in mind it’s supposed to be a bedroom for an 8 month old baby) and the exact reply I got was “it’s not a bedroom, it’s a cupboard 😂😂😂”. It’s honestly getting me so down, I’ve tried everything I can to make this a home. I haven’t been to the council or anything because I already know that as far as they’re concerned, there’s people in much worse situations than me. I just want my poor baby to grow up in a home that’s not going to make her ill 😞.

Thank you to anyone that manages to read it all and give me any advice, I appreciate it massively x
