Hiya could I have a private post please?
I’m having a bit of a debate with myself at the moment about what sort of bed to buy for my 2 year old. She currently sleeps in her cot but with one of the sides taken off, she’s never fallen out of bed. My question is, would i be better to get her a toddler bed or would it be better to just go straight for a lower down single bed for her? She’s quite tall too so I’m wondering wether getting a toddler bed would be a bit of a waste… just wondering what other people did with their little ones and what they think? Thank you x

  • I took the sides off my daughters cotbed at 10 months, then at a year she went into a full size single divan bed, which was quite high, I then changed to a metal lower bed. I didn’t bother with a toddler bed as I believe it’s the same size as a cotbed? X

  • I put my daughter straight on a single bed with a bed guard on and never had any problems. Plus she loves it and it saved me money x

  • My son was in a toddler bed for about 2 month before he was waking up hitting the sides & he’s really tall. I would go for a single bed x
