How do I go about getting my partner parental rights for my eldest? His biological father hasn’t seen him or made any contact in 5 years, we don’t know where he is either.

We’re planning on eventually going for adoption once we’re married etc but going for parental rights in the meantime.

My partner and I have discussed it and it’s something we both want. We also want stability for our children incase anything were to happen to either of us.
