This disgusts me. The person behind them on the list probably needed it a lot more than they did. How can a couple who both work not save enough for a deposit for renting a flat? I’m by myself and pay all my rent and could still do that. People like this are horrid.
I kind of get where she’s coming from, but then me and my two children lived in a woman’s refuge for 11 months because there was no social housing left. So in future I would never lie to get a place because I know there are people that need it more x
But the other people turned it down so couldn’t of needed it that much :/? Me and my partner both work full time and have been saving over a year to move out and still haven’t got enough yet… but you have people who don’t bother working and get housed straight away.. just my opinion though x
Why should she be ashamed no way should she all new parents want their own home when having a new baby n they do pay full rent so I don’t see any problems
I see why they did it but I would never do this myself. Dying to get out own place but here we shall stay 🙂
Why shouldnt someone who works there arses off be entitled to a council house ..???
