I have a partner who gambles all the time and never has a penny. He has just started a job about 3 months ago and we have a baby together and he keeps gambling all my money i works a few days a week. He gets the baby things from wages dont get me wrong but then gambles the rest and then says he has helped out but then steals anything up to 100 a time from my account and online gambles it or in the shops. He has a really bad addiction . Then says he will give me it back as hes already helped with the baby. I get so annoyed as then he thinks he can take what he wants and he will give back (rarely does) i have changed pin and cards more times than i can count. I want it to be normal where we uaed to be able to share each others money and it was family money not his and mine. But it cant be like that as he just gambles it all. So i need to keep money to make sure the baby is looked after and the bills are paid. Sometimes his family have gave me money as he has literally left me hundreds of pounds overdrawn which then affects my next wage. I have been paying all bills last few months when he wasnt working. But he just keeps making out it isnt bad and i dont know what to do i want us to work but this cant go on. I feel so down with it all and just need him to realise what hes got and he will lose us if he does it as ive tried throwing him and all his stuff out ect but he never takes me seriously and just goes to his mums for a day as she just lives down road from us nd says im over reacting as i will get all the money back but never do. Just needing some advice really on what to do and if anyones been through anything similar . Thanks , sorry for long post.
