I Lost Five Stone By Giving Up Smoking

I lost five stone by giving up smoking
Back in march 2017 I was 16 stone and smoked 30+ cigarettes a day.
I was a mother of two, Amy Louise 3 and Samuel James 14 months old, I had a wake up call one day whilst at the park, Amy was chasing after a duck and was getting closer to the pond, I had to run to catch up with her and caught her just before she landed in the pond.
I was out of breath and had a pain in my chest and a stitch in my side, but i had a bigger pain in my heart realising that my life style was risking my children’s lives, I decided then if I wanted to be a great mum for my children I had to lose weight and give up smoking.
I decided I didn’t want to use patches or gum and I wasn’t prepared to go to a weight loss group I was going to do this with will power alone.
I thought up a plan, I started cooking healthier meals and every time I wanted a cigarette I did a plank or leg rises, jogging on the spot, run up the stairs, wall sits any exercise i could think of.
I punished myself for wanting a cigarette with exercise and you know what It worked.
I didn’t want a cigarette any more and I loved that I could run after my little two with ease.
I have never felt healthier in all my life , I’ve always been a big girl but now I am a healthy size 10, and weight 10 1/2 stone I have no plans on losing any more weight but want to maintain my figure.
If I can do it anyone can, not only do I have more energy and look and smell better I have saved a small fortune plus I’m a more fun mum now
