I need some serious advice please, and please don’t judge me …

I need to know if I die and leave a letter or something stating my daughter is to stay with a certain person and not her dad would it be legally binding?

Her dad is an abusive drunk who ruined my life and I finally escaped 18 months ago after years of hell.
He’s a terrible father and I’m terrified of my daughter being raised by him but I know I won’t be around for her and it’s best for her to be with family and safe.

My life is a mess I’m a mess emotionally and I can’t cope I can’t give her what she needs or deserves and I need to do right by her.

My life’s been a mess since childhood constant abuse violence and trauma, I thought I’d escaped but I’m plagued by ptsd depression and anxiety and it’s caused me to loose an amazing partner and break my daughters heart.
She deserves so much better, I just need to know I can make sure she’s safe
