I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this rash is on my son. It started off really pale and has now reached the point of being raised and sore. Its the worst on his legs all the way up from his feet on the front and back. Its slightly on his arms and hands and also a couple on his face. Thanks in advance xx

  • I have something called polymorphic light eruption, it’s an allergy to the sun. Starts as little spots that turn into blisters and it’s so sore it’s unreal. I get it on my hands, up my arm, shoulders and around my ears and also my feet! I’m currently on 120mg antihistamines and had to buy a sun cream called piz buin allergy, so far it seems to help as long as I don’t stay in the sun longer than 20 mins. I found when the spots were out bathing in calamine lotion and using a lot of aloe Vera gel helped but never fully took away the awful burning and itching. If you Google it you can find lots of info and see if that’s what it is 😊

  • My little boy had a rash like this a few months back. Took him to Dr’s & he said virus. He said the rash could last up to 3 weeks. I’m still not convinced it was that but the Dr didn’t really have a clue. Took him twice to Dr’s & both times they said virus as they didn’t know what else it could be

  • If they are blisters, then I would say chicken pox. Coconut oil for the itching, or calamine. Lots of water and let him sleep.
