I would like to be unanimous.I am very worried and would like to know if there are anyone else that had been in my shoes.I am 26 years old female and been sexually active since last September with my husband.My periods been regular but it started to skip and irregular since last May.My last period was in January and couple of weeks earlier I just had dark brown spots instead of period for about 9 days and now I have fresh blood spots after intercourse and I feel a bit of discomfort for sometime after .This happened twice .I tried to look for some advice online and it suggested that I could be suffering from cervical cancer.I plan to get myself checked very soon but still the thought of it itself makes me very worried and sick.I haven’t talked about it with my husband.

You need to see your Dr. They will do swabs to check for infections or abnormal cells first. They may also ask for a blood test to check hormones. If these are all normal then they may refer you for an ultrasound &/or a hysteroscopy to inspect the womb lining more closely & may even biopsy a sample. Depending on the result of this will then determine any further action taken
