I’m 38 weeks and baby is complete breech with her feet and legs up at face, the midwife & sonographer said there wasn’t a chance she would move now as she’s too big. I’ve been trying to turn her, birthing ball, on all fours etc. I have a meeting with consultant this week to discuss csection , I’ve already been given my date for that also. Just wondering if there’s any other things I can try to get the baby to turn (safely), also for planned section mums – we’re you only allowed 1 birthing partner or are you allowed 2? Thanks in advance X

  • Can you reply to Millie- they haven’t offered as they said it 99% wouldn’t work because of her position, I also was unsure on it as well as I don’t want to stress/hurt her or myself x

  • I don’t know about turning, my daughter was breech the same and her placenta and 20cm umbilical cord stopped her turning. I had a section and was only allowed one person in, that was my husband. He got to cut the cord and we took a camera and they took lots of photos for us. Our little girl had a scan on her hips at six weeks just to check there were no problems from being in that position. All was good. Xxx
