I’m hoping someone can help me.. I just started a new job in September. I don’t get holidays but I work term time only so the summer holidays ect are my holidays. The staff who work all year round are only allowed to take their holidays in the summer holidays.
So my question is, obviously the people who work all year round get paid for the holidays they take. Should I get paid at all for the holidays I have to take? Someone who works term time too said we dont. Surely I can’t go 6 weeks in the summer holidays without any pay? Thanks!

You get paid a yearly salary that is then split into 52 weeks and you are usually paid 4 weeks at a time x
They should pro rata your pay over the year x
