I’m looking for a little bit of advice from people living in Scotland affected by the benefit cuts. PLEASE NO BASHING I ONLY NEED ADVICE. I’m currently unemployed due to bad health issues related to pregnancy and due to this my husband is having to stay home to look after the kids a lot. We are paying full rent as we have arrears ontop of the benefit cap so that uses our JSA. Our child tax credits have now been cut by 60 pounds per week as they say theres an overpayment which ive never had as were on benefits so were having to appeal that. Weve contacted welfare benefits crisis grant but they say as its due to overpayments they cant help us. Does anyone in scotalnd know where we go to see about help? we just need food but it seems every authority is passing us about. Many thanks xxx
