Incredibly confused and seeking advice. I’ll start from the beginning, my daughter (4) was unwell earlier this week, fever, vomiting and generally unwell. Wednesday I Took her to our GP who took a urine sample and detected a little bit of blood and ketones in her urine. So he referred us to the children’s hospital, saw the doctor, who requested another urine sample which was sent to the lab and came back all clear, no UTi. Put her sickness down to a viral infection and sent us home. However last night she began crying and complaining that her private parts were burning (she wasn’t on the toilet), I immediately put her in the bath to rinse her down. My question is, would a UTi have shown up in 2 urine samples taken on Wednesday and she’d only had burning Thursday night? Also the only thing that helped was I used my intimate wash, can I use that for her?
