Is it.ok to post this so I was in abusive marriage and i left i was in a refudge finely got my own place with my luttle boy im on full benifits until I get sorted and go back to collage next year only had to claim because seperated with my ex allways worked before then, the refudge staff have allways been brilliant with me until.yesterday I was gobsmacked what was said to me said I had no umph about me and Im very negative and i enjoy the negativity, at the.minuet going theough a divorce which has been stressful enough and my ex has decided after never bothering with his son when we was togther and the past 9 months he wants.access I said no so going theough court I did offer indirect contact but the refudge staff said that was a bad move but then on the other hand there banging on about farther rights.and how he obviously wants to see his son and he could of changed now I have confided in these people and it’s like they have forgotten what he put me abd my son theough he wasn’t interested in Contact until he was served with divorce papers and all of a sudden he wants access i no this is to get at me, I won’t say what went on in the marriage but there was physical and enotionally abuse the emotional.abuse was horrendous he even did it to our son but was only 5 months old so didn’t understand, I have said this is one of my biggest fear if he was to get unsupervised contact said he would.emotional abuse my son to turn him against me and the staff said tjere is nothing I could do about that and it would ve down to me how I raised him for it not to affect him I’m so appalled by this or is it me overreacting it was only a few weeks ago they was praising how far u had come and i was so proactive with my son and now this they also said they was worrid about my mental health and maybe I needed tabkets but surely if your worrid about someone’s mental health you wouldn’t insult them like that what am I suppose to do is it me veing to sensitive
