Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice or tips on the first signs of ADHD, autism etc. What age these signs started to show. I’m aware no medical professional will look at a child for anything like that untill they are at least what 4-5? But there are little things starting to happen that’s really making me wonder. Thanks x

I noticed little things with my son at 18 months old, he wasn’t seen by the professionals until he was 6 and diagnosed within months, he was a very mardy baby, didn’t see danger, hated noises, and age two his feeding habits changed dramatically, basically stopped eating most foods
My daughter was diagnosed with autism at age 2 by a paediatrician so can definitely be diagnosed earlier before 4-5. With my child it was delayed in all development (eating, sitting, bum shuffling, Walking). She made no eye contact and flapping movements when excited. I kept on putting it off hoping it was just a case of ‘all children develop at different paces’ xx
