MIL advice please
My mil is nothing but a nasty piece of work. She hates the fact that my partner has taken on my son as his own, she’s constantly bitching to others about my parenting and saying how she dislikes my son (3 yo) because he’s not biologically her sons. She makes comments on how I “make her son” pay for everything for us and how it’s such a shame he has no money left for himself etc.. Yet I also work and put money into our family it has never just been him nor do we have any money issues, so I’m not seeing how it’s such a shame on him.
She goes about telling others lies about me, saying I’m horrible and I speak about other people when that’s one thing I don’t do.
She’s aggressive, manipulative and just downright awful.
My partner claims he’s on my side but still chats away to his mum like everything is fine with her.
I have no other family or close friends near by and it’s starting to put a strain on my relationship as well as my mental health.
Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with an evil mil because I’m at wits ends

U cant stop ur partner speaking to his mother unfortunately its his mother , why don’t u ask her wtf her problem is with ur child he’s a baby no need to scoop that low only person putting a strain on it really is u because he’s still talking to his mother ignore her hope to god ur man is sticking up for u as and wen required if she’s as bad as she makes out I think hurts more that we have no one and they have ,talk to ur family and make some mummy friends because if u don’t I’ll push him away too
I don’t wanna write it on here because I think people outside of the group can see what you write, but you can message me if you like- I’m in the exact same situation. In the middle of nowhere with no one, mil from HELL spreading lies about me, partner says he sticks up for me but he acts like it’s all great, on the verge of packing my bags and going đŸ˜‚ but i love him so it’s hard! Xx
Best thing ya can do is kill her with kindness like go out of your way to be nice to her and her nastyness will shine like a diamond and everyone will see her for what she is including your partner x
