My 3 year old boy has started smacking me biting me and kicking me he had been through this stage once and I kinda ignored it and it went away but today he pulled my hair and smacked me in the face when I told him no he couldn’t have his dummy as its only at bedtime he has it. Any advice on what to do he has a star chart and a naughty step. Thanks in advance x

Continue to ignore and put in time out ….hitting back or yelling will only escalate his behaviour …When he is calm talk about how he hurt you and we don’t hurt people … terrible 2s was practice for the 3s ….good luck to you
Time out for violence straight away for mine if I can get to it before they start I use distraction and positive reinforcement i don’t ignore violence bit I do pick n choose what needs to be dealt with and what I can ignore
