My child has been vomiting constantly since last Monday so it’s now been 8 days. He’s fully breastfeeding. Since Monday he hasn’t eaten any food at all and anything he does eat he is vomiting out Straight Away. He can vomit up to 15 times a day. I’ve called 111 3 times and been to the out of hours doctor twice and a and e twice. They all say it’s a bug and their unsure of why it’s going on so long. I just don’t know what to do he vomits minimum 3 times a day and I mean projectile vomit. I can’t give him anything to eat even bland foods like bread , literally 1 bite makes him projectile vomit loads. He’s lost plenty of weight and today I thought he was getting better as he didn’t vomit all night and all morning so I made him some lunch for the first time in over a week and noodles and broccoli he ate it all and was happy with it. I was just breastfeeding him to sleep and he ended up vomiting out loads and loads again. It just seems like this ‘stomach bug’ is never ended and no doctors have been able to give me an explanation. He’s lost so much weight and I just don’t know what to do. Is there anyone who’s child has had a bug longer than 8 days he’s 11 months old xx
