My head is all over the place and I really need advice 😞, I was with my ex partner for 5 years he went to prison for sleeping with a student (he was a teacher) because I was pregnant I was young and stupid and waited for him, he came out and treated me like absolute rubbish he constantly cheated on me with young girls, he hit, bit, strangled me, pulled my hair (sometimes in front of our son) I couldn’t take any more and left him, his mum used to have our son on a Saturday over night so he could see him, however he met someone new and moved 60miles away so he never bothered with him again that was when he was 1, he came back into our life when our son was 1 year 6 months old promising me he had changed, I so foolishly believed him and took him back to try again however he was having an affair with a girl he worked with and I found out and said that was enough and ended it for good, that night he kicked my front door in and strangled me (i have pictures of my neck) this was in front of my son, we never spoke again since, he was in a relationship with the girl he had an affair with the day after. My son is now 3 and he’s asking for contact or he will take me to court, I’m so worried about him seeing him for so many reasons, 1) he’s a registered sex offender 2) he’s violent 3) his girlfriend is a drug addict 4) he’s an control freak (he used to lock me in his house and take my phone of me) 5) he’s always threatened to take my son and I’ll never see him again 6) my son don’t even know him anymore. His been in our sons life for a total of 6 months on and off. What would the courts do? Am I in the wrong for not responding to him about seeing him? I just want to protect him
