My son is 7 months and within the last 3 weeks hes taken a dissliking to his bed. He wants cuddles all night in mine and my partners bed. Problem is i dont want him in my bed neither does my partner. Now on thursday and friday night we thought we cracked it, got him in his own bed from 9pm till 7am both times. Then come friday he went to stop at grandma and grandads to which they didnt sleep due to him being very unsettled. Then last night me and my partner had exactly the same night with him as his grandparents did. Thing is, they deal with him similar to how we do. To my knowladge they have never done anything we dont want. They are brilliant grandparents i cant fault them.

When it comes to my little boy i dont mind a cuddle to sleep but once hes asleep and we put him down in his cot he only lasts till about 1am if we are lucky and thats when the issue starts

He stops over every friday without fail and has done since he was 11 weeks old so this is nothing new that im not keen on stopping

So i need some advise,
How on earth do i get him to be happy in his own bed?

Would it be beneficial or a bitch move if i stop him going over for a week or two to try to get him to settke in his own bed and get a better routeen in place?
