Needing some advice or tips.

So… I’m one of those people who CANNOT show my feelings no matter how proud of someone I am, I get too shy even at the thought of telling them.
My boyfriend has just had his parade today; becoming an Army Reserve. I was there to support him etc, but I feel really guilty that I didn’t say I’m proud of him – I really want to let him know but I just scare myself away when I try to think of doing it. I’m not pathetic or silly – I’m just not confident enough. Any suggestions on how to do it, apart from a card? Maybe a letter or something? I want it to be something cute/nice for him.
please no horrible comments as I’ve always been like this, just shy of showing my feelings!
