Sorry for long post i will try to keep to main facts.
Split from my abusive ex xmas 2012 all official by april 2013 when our second child was born. After her birth we went to court for a custody battle at the time he saw kids 3 times a week. Over the 6 months court this became less and less in Oct 13 he was granted 2 hours a fortnight supervised by social services on an increase/decrease at recommendation. He saw them in Oct then never show again. In Dec social decreased to monthly, but still had to send invite every month. And he never turned up. I was told he was taken sick and was on bedrest and couldn’t travel
In April 14 i took the children to see his parents first time since the split. And as he lived 5 mins away social said as a 1 off could have 2 hours supervised there. So he turned up saw for 2 hours and left.
Fast forward 3 years august 17 not seen kids no phone calls, no letters, birthday cards not a single penny. Kids have regular visits with grandparents. My daughter now 4 1/2 asked to see him, so i arrange a meeting. He gives me a measly £50 (yet has a £600 ipad for my son to play on) and acts like his father of the year. Then causes a row and starts trouble
Anyway we are spending this christmas with his parents. I have said i want him no where near the house, i do not want my children upset over xmas. And that if he shows we will be leaving even if we gave to check into a b+b until the trains are running to bring us home. I am being called every name under the sun. Am i in the wrong, should i allow him there? And risk it turning into a slagging match. TIA
