Please Can I have a PP?!
My husband provided labour to a local company a few weeks ago and invoiced them accordingly. Now we have rang them constantly for payment over this period with excuse after excuse, being told it would be paid that day. Anyway now when he called the office the lady said she would call the owner to see if she can authorise payment. Anyway she calls back to say she rang him but he just laughed at her and hung up. This now means our Xmas is cancelled that money was our present fund. We have been robbed of his money and nothing we can do this close to Christmas. Anyway sorry for the essay but does anyone know where we stand?! Can we take him to small claims court for the amount? We have the invoice and texts from him delaying the payment.
