Please could I have a private post: UK

I have recently found out that I am pregnant, we decided on booking a consultation for a termination. During the vaginal scan we found out we was only 5 weeks & there was no visible heartbeat just an egg. This made our decision 1000xs easier. We opted for the medical abortion. This was one oral tablet then 4 vaginally (the nurse inserted these correctly). I passed 4 large clots & bled with severe cramping which I had codeine for. I had extreme nausea which after a week turned into vomiting & nausea. I booked another appointment due to pregnancy symptoms continuing after nearly 2 weeks. During our vaginal scan today we was told that we have a continued pregnancy and that the medical abortion failed. It has come as a massive shock. As I am now further along it is so much harder for us to terminate although it is advised due to the tablets causing deformations or development problems. Has anyone been in this situation. We are emotionally distraught, shocked & upset by all this.
