I have a 4 year old son who was conceived during a one night stand after I split up with my partner of 9 years.
After I discovered I was pregnant I told him and he didn’t want a relationship with me but said he would have one with the baby.
I had my son prematurely at 28 weeks and he was on life support and had blood transfusions ECT and the father never bothered to even visit him!
He even had to drive past the hospital to get to and from work!
Anyway fast forward to now and his csa has stopped and I need to contact him to ask if he would like to set up an agreement but I’ve found out he is with someone and expecting a baby soon.
If I can’t contact him do you think I should contact the girlfriend (she may not know my son exists) or just call child maintenance and sort it from there.
Any advice would be appreciated x
