Basicallly after some advice at what other mums would do…
My 5 year old daughter sees her dad every weekend along with his partner. Her dad has treated me like scum of the earth since the day we met, we split 4 years ago and since then it’s been hell. His partner is evil too. Her so called father recently stated that he wanted her aborted anyway which resulted in me losing it for a second and hitting him repeatedly. (I’m human afterall and my daughter didn’t see anything I made sure she was safely in a friends house). Since then whenever my daughter has been at her dads she’s returned saying things like “this house isn’t healthy for me” “you don’t look after me properly do you” etc. When asked where she’s heard that she freezes up and insists she said it herself. Now I know I’m a good mum. She’s happy healthy confident and clever but it’s slipped out that her father and his partner tell her things like this. I’ve never and never would bad mouth her father to her even though what he put us through and left us with is disgusting, and now my daughter is feeling stuck in the middle. My girl has also witnessed domestic violence in their house with dad’s partner attacking her dad infront of her. And I know it’s his partner… as she can’t have children she’s obsessed with turning mine against me so they can have him. I DO NOT want to stop contact with her father, but there’s no way I can have his partner around my girl anymore! What can I do?!
