Please put this up on the page need advice

I know midwifes say anything out of norm to go see someone asap they mean movements slow down etc however im around 29/30 weeks gone and ive had nothing but movement all day long WAY more than normal and not small kicks either like lumps and bumps poking out and whole tummy moving and kicks that are making me really flinch should i go get an opinion or is this normal im a first time mum and i havent got a clue ps i havent done anything new or different

  • Go get checked over. I’m sure all is well but any change in pattern of movements whether more or less should be checked over. For your own peace of mind as well just get checked and don’t feel like you are wasting their time. It’s what they are there for.

  • Which way was baby last laid? Could be baby moving around into position I remember with my first he was breech and I ha a lot of movement felt like a washing machine next time I went for check up he was head down but if you feel as though you need to get it checked out go never ever go against your gut instincts x

  • Caffeine worked on my little one like that. Lucozade felt like whoooa!!! Even my eyes looked different after lucozade pregnant. I had it only a few times only. Hope you both are fine xxx

  • I had this for one day and my baby turned breached at 38 weeks. Any change in movements, decreased or increased, needs checking out Hun. Will also put your mind at rest. Xx

  • Any change in movement should be checked, more or less, I would get checked out, they are there to help, even if it’s just for piece of mind x

  • i asked this question a few weeks ago, my mw said its normal. but ALWAYS go with your gut and get checked out if your concerned

  • Don’t wait for cold water to work or anything. I lost my daughter at 35 weeks always going straight away with either increased or decreased. Don’t listen to old wives tales x

  • Increased movement needs to be checked as well.
    I lost my daughter at 38weeks and she has been moving/kicking out alot more the day she diedx

  • I get this all the time, every day but baby is fine.
    I’ve always been told an active baby is a healthy one?😲

    Get checked over just to put your mind at ease.

  • ANY change in movement needs seen to – not just reduced movement. Call your maternity unit & say you’re coming in due to change in movement.

  • Any change in movment go straight to women and children hospital to be checked movement does not change if it does get it checked x
