Pp please. Anyone think im getting annoyed for no reason?
Ok so I split up with my x in October. And been with my new partner since December. My girls are 2 and 4. Me and my new partner have taken them on holiday 3 times in 8 months. And the girls dad sees them one day a week if that because of work and school.
Me and my new partner never get time alone and I am wanting to go away for a week next year without the girls so we can have some ‘ us ‘ time. But my ex has said im not taking a weeks holiday for you and your new partner to Sun it up… but surely any decent father would be happy to see their children for a full week… like i said me and my partner look after them 24-7 and have done since the start of our relationship. I dont know im just abit annoyed.. every thing i do is for the girls I take them out nearly every day. I take them on holidays more than many other kids. Is it really unfair for me and my partner to want to have a week break to our self?? And should he really be that bothered about us ‘ sunning ‘ it up when apparently he gets really down when he don’t get to see them very often?? Tia x
