PP please

I’m wondering if my lo is tongue tied. My lo is 4 weeks old, I tried breastfeeding in the beginning but got nowhere with it, she struggled to latch on properly and my nipples ended up cracked, bleeding and milk wasn’t coming in properly. I switched to bottled and have been using mam mainly with aptamil 1.

However lo has been plagued with bad wind from day one. I got mam as they helped my first lo with colic and were brilliant with her but this time round colic has been really bad and infacol/relief etc don’t help (has made her constipated). It takes a few attempted to get the teat in the right position in her mouth. She gulps it very quickly and majority of the time she makes a clicking noise. Another thing I would give her 4 oz and at least 1 and a half of that usually goes round her. It spills out the side of her mouth and she’s soaked. She cries in pain with wind, I can get a good bit of it up but you can still tell there is more and her belly swells up and is rock hard.

I have tried tommee tippee advanced and NUK Bottles thinking it was the mam bottles problem but the exact same thing happens in terms of spilling and difficulty positioning the teat on her tongue. There was less spillage with nuk but it still occurred and the clicking noise was still there like a lot of air was getting in.

I never thought of it until my cousins suggested it as his sons was the same and that is what he had, he ended up getting his tongue cut and his problems went away . Just wondering does it sound like she is and do I speak to the GP or the HV about it.
