My daughter injured her self badly at pre school on wednesday, she has a fractured leg. My daughter and the staff have said she got up from sitting and just fell down and started screaming. We were called to collect her as she wouldn’t stop crying and was in so much pain and was advised to get her checked out at a&e.
Now when I took her I was questioned over and over on how it happened, and to me they were acting like I was lying or being lied to. They also told me they have to report it as part of their safe guarding procedure, which I understand. What happens from here? There is cctv of it happening in pre school but I haven’t felt the need to watch it yet as I don’t disbelieve them.
The hospital have said it needs reporting to ofsted Now do I report it or would the pre school staff do that?
I understand it’s not their fault at all because she didn’t fall off anything she just lost her balance 😞 xx
