PPP. Anyone have a partner who favours 1 child over the other? Me and my fiance have a daughter who is 4 and a son who is 9 months old. I’ve noticed the last few weeks he always seems to be about our boy so I’ve pushed for more attention to go on our daughter. Tonight he admitted he feels like he loves our boy more than our girl. I am absolutely in bits for our amazingly clever, beautiful and special girl. I so hope she never feels like he loves the baby more than her. He’s always been such a fab dad and had a pact that we would make sure our girl feels as special as possible and to be honest she really is the most amazing big sister we could have asked for. When i asked him he said he feels closer to our baby and that of course he still loves our girl. I just feel soooooo upset. Am i being silly? Anyone else in this situation?! XxX

Can i also add that he said he doesn’t know if it’s because baby is so new and learning things 😔 x
I think most men, not all, like to invision themselves having a son so they can pass down their traits to them, play football, go fishing etc. Most women, not all, would prefer a girl so they can bond with them. Of course he loves them both but because the baby is new and doesn’t talk back etc he probably finds it easier. Don’t work yourself up about it 😊
