Ppp. I have to ring midwife at half eight with another reading but thought I’d get some advice before then. I’m high risk due to previous preeclampsia and an early first baby (13 weeks) I’m being monitored really well and was in hospital 2 weeks ago where i had bloods taken and all was okay in the end. I’m at home and have to monitor my own blood pressure 4 times a week, Monday I was seeing my consultant and my blood pressure was raised again yesterday was raised but no other symptoms of preeclampsia. When ever o ring the midwife with my results she just says that I need to ring back if any other symptoms occur but surly having high blood pressure is bad anyway being pregnant would you want to go in hospital to get checked properly or just sit at home like they say? Preeclampsia can suddenly come on and I’m worried they miss it! I’m 36 weeks now thanks x
