Ppp. In March i asked my daughters teacher at parents evening if she thought my daughter was dyslexic. She said it was too early to tell. Shes 6 7 in October. I got called into see the teacher last week she invited the senco teacher and my daughters new teacher they advised me that what i was thinking when we last met was correct. Does anyone know what age they actually test children with dyslexia? Is there anything i can do to support her? Feel bad for not doing anything about it when i raised it in March. Thanks

Don’t test it in my area anymore the correct age is 7 I’m dyslexic myself I will say as u get older it eases my spelling isn’t the best but far from the worst I suffer worst when I’m stressed x
My son was tested just before he was 8 even though the signs were there for a year . I had to push the school to get it done , it came up high straight away xx
Think my sister was 6 or 7 when she was diagnosed. My mum was in the headmaster’s office every day, pushing for assessment
Im lookin into this now for my nrly 6 yr old.
