Ppp Is this normal tolder behaviour or am I doing something wrong? My 1 year old hates being around others It’s to the point she refuses to settle around others espashaĺly if not known to her and cry at the top of the hat isn’t very touchy feely at all only when unwell ?

My 3 year old of late refuses to eat her meals at dinner time then asks for food when putting her to bed but then will sometimes refuse whatever else we give her and just seems to want to be downstairs with us but kicks of a shit storm if I take her back up even when she’s actually tierd I do spend most my nights with her just trying to settle her
Not gonna lie the tantrums and the screaming and the fallouts with my partner for not always being helpful is starting to get me down I walked out this morning an left him to it with them I only came back as I don’t think he’d manage on his own with them? & deep down I love them all I have patience of a saint but I feel like I’m slowly cracking up all I seem to do is moan , clean and try and resolve tantrums with all 3 of them 😭 never get 5 mins to myself always look scruffy never have anything nice and when I ant sorting the tantrums out I’m trying to catch up on the housework among other things

Love them all but lately I’m just fed up of the constant drama and don’t know how to cope with it I’ve even signed my self for to a 13 week course for 2 hours on a Friday just to get some down time to just be “myself again”
I adore my children but somtimes feels like they hate me:( & I don’t get why

  • My 1 year old hates people so did my 3 year old at that age he’d used to hide in a corner till they went youngest clings to me and walks away from everyone …tea time if they refuse I remove plate after so long but I do offer toast for supper 45 mins before bed with a drink so that there’s no complaining of hunger or thirst (as adults we know what it’s like going to bed with a hungry belly as adults we can get something to eat 3 year olds can’t) and don’t fall for the I want I need etc it does get easier consistency is the key they will always push boundaries
