Ppp it isn’t baby related but does affect my children, was just wondering does anyone know how long a landlord can keep me without hot water my boiler broke yesterday so no hot water at all for dishes or baths my kids need a bath today but can’t see him fixing it for a while he’s proper lazy x

  • 7 days! Go straight to the council and tell them the situation and that you’ve got kids, i did it when my old landlord did it to us..and the council came and took photos of everything in every room and ended up doing 30 jobs lol…also council gave him a 7 day deadline for the boiler and 28 days for the rest of the jobs and if he didn’t agree then the council would of done the work and charge him x

  • They have left me 2 weeks before even when I was pregnant! With my daughter who was then 2! I was in a housing association and it was winter and they wouldn’t make me a priority because my daughter isn’t disabled!! She had to go to my mum and dads til it was sorted in the end I had baths at my friends house etc xx

  • Should be fixed asap my landlord left me with a faulty boiler for a year hot water everywhere but the bath room
