Ive had to stop contact to my daughters father due to DV and his drinking, SS have been informed and not taking any action due to me protecting and keeping our child away until a court decides otherwise! My question is she hasnt mentioned him in weeks! Will she forget who he is?
He hasnt tried to contact her due to what im told hes in a new relationship! Should i be the bigger person and offer video chats to one another once a week?or is that not right? I dont know what to do i want the best for my lo and for ger to know her dad… im still waiting for him to organise a contact centre but his lawyer takes weeks if not months to send out letters to my solicitor! am i still protecting her doing this or will it emotionally do damage. Shes only 20months, i cant allow contact unsupervised until a court rules me to! There for i have no choice and the courts will be potentially putting her in danger, also will it affect my case by doing this?tia xx
