I’ve seen alot of people who say they don’t get on with their MIL I’m just wondering if anyone has the same problem but with their own mum.
My mum goes out of her way to make me feel like a failure (evem though we live 150 miles away) if there is ever anything wrong with my son she some how turns it round to be my fault. When we moved house she had him for 2 nights and when I picked him up she said If I didn’t come back he wouldn’t have noticed he only mentioned me once which goes to show he didn’t miss me. Now normally I’m a strong person but I feel so down she has made me feel like I can’t cope with my son even though everyone else says what a great mum I am. Me and my partner work so hard we have a very busy business together we always make sure he has everything he needs and make sure we have staff in 3 days a week so we can have family time together where we take him to loads of fun places. He’s happy and healthy yet it still doesn’t seem enough. Me and my mum used to be best friends and now she uses every opportunity to put me Down 😢
Has anyone else had this problem how did you solve it? I don’t want to tell her how down she has made me feel because I know it will upset her
